Launched in 1995 The site was established by Malo Girod de l'Ain and Bruno Chatelin, with a partnership with Cannes (we built Cannes' first website).

We host a community platform with other 60 000 blog profiles where filmmakers or festivals can publish and promote freely. The site has a very unique and important editorial activity. over 85 000 articles give the beat of the circuit, news, homages, line up, tributes, nominations, awards, interviews and reviews.

With close to a million unique visitors per year and 192 000 subscribers to our weekly newsletter we maintain one of the larges pro database of filmmakers, buyers, sales agents and film media. During the key filmmarkets and festivals filmfestivals.com provides online dailies and newsletters. we recently became the leading online resource for Cannes and AFM, prividing thousands of industry news, a trusted and essential tool for filmmakers, buyers and sales agencies.

We have promoted thousands of films, festivals, platforms (including the launch of Netflix), resources for filmmakers and large international brands and studios with an interest for film (Piper Heidsieck, Kodak, Sony...) 

Bruno Chatelin who has been running the company since 2000 is an experienced film marketing professional who formerly managed 20th Century Fox, UGC and Sony Pictures theatrical divisions in France; he is always looking forward to initiatives where he can offer his creativity and network. Prior to that he worked with large international advertising agencies(Publicis, DMM Masius, JWT).
