The Posteritati Gallery (239 Centre Street between Broome and Grand Streets) is delighted to present a Zeitgeist Films poster retrospective in celebration of its partner, neighbor and friend's, 20th anniversary. The exhibit will be on display from June 24 thru July 31 and will feature original theatrical posters for films from 20 years of Zeitgeist's uniquely eclectic catalog.

The Posteritati Gallery event will be in conjunction with a film retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art celebrating Zeitgeist Films' twentieth year of distributing adventurous world cinema, "Zeitgeist: The Films of Our Times." The series, presented June 26 through July 23 in MoMA's Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters, celebrates two decades of Zeitgeist's operation under Emily Russo and Nancy Gerstman. Films in the series include the Oscar-winning Nowhere in Africa, Irma Vep, Lumumba, Aimee and Jaguar, The Corporation, Ballets Russes and Into Great Silence.

The Posteritati gallery is located in downtown New York at 239 Centre Street between Broome and Grand Streets, directly across the street from the historic Police Building. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday from noon to 6 pm, and Monday by appointment.
