International film academies are joining the boycott of Russian cinema due to Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

The European Film Academy is boycotting Russian cinema and calling for a boycott of all European film academies.The Polish Film Academy, the Danish Film Academy, the Italian Film Academy, the Catalan Film Academy, the Lithuanian Film Academy, and the Slovak Film Academy have already joined the appeal.

In addition, other film organizations are joining the boycott: Disney, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures, The European producers Club.

Ми закликаємо:

Council of Europe – to exclude Russia from the Eurimages and terminate co-production agreements with it.

festivals – not to allow in the competition and non-competition programs films produced by the Russian Federation or in co-production with it.

International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) - to deprive the Moscow International Film Festival of FIAPF accreditation.

producers – to terminate any business with business entities of the Russian Federation and not to transfer intellectual property rights to any films to the territory of the Russian Federation.

distributors – to ban the circulation of Russian films abroad.
