Stockholm International Film Festival Junior is now open

After a successful kick-off the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior invites you to an eventful week with films and exciting meetings. 25 films from 19 countries in 8 days. The festival takes place April 15-22.
Here are some highlights from this year’s addition of the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior:

Monday, April 16th
Trigger will be presented by its director Gunnar Vikene at the Skandia theatre at 11.30 AM. The director meets the audience with actor Sven Wollter during a Face2Face where the audience has the opportunity to ask questions.

Hae-yeong Lee, from Korea, will join us in Stockholm with his film Like a Virgin. The audience will meet him during a Face2Face at the Zita theatre at 11.30 AM.

Tuesday, April 17th
World premiere for Pirret, by Kjell-Åke Andersson, at the Skandia theatre at 9.00 AM. The director presents the film and participates in a face2face together with actors.

Wednesday, April 18th
The Estonian blockbuster Lotte from Gadgetville will be presented by its director Heike Ernits during a Face2Face at the Zita theatre at 9.00 AM.

Thursday, April 19th
Michel Ocelot presents his new film Azur & Asmar at the Zita theatre, and answers questions from the audience during a Face2Face at 1.40 PM.

Friday, April 20th
The Ugly Duckling and Me is screened at 11.30 AM at the Skandia theatre. Visiting director Karsten Kiilerich will be present to participate in a Face2Face.

Short films for the younger ones, Skandia theatre at 11.15 AM. The films will later be presented by its creators Rickard Söderström, Johan Hagelbäck, Rasmus Rosén (voice-over), Lennart Gustafsson and Ylva-Li Gustafsson during a Face2Face.

Saturday, April 21st
Three films straight - All the Invisible Children inaugurates the day at 10.00 AM, Frida Hallgren presents the classic E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial at 12.00 PM and 2:37 finishes the day off at 15.00 PM.

Sunday, April 22nd
We finish Junior off with a prize ceremony at the Skandia theatre at 15.30 PM. Best Film will be appointed by Juniorgruppen and two winners of the national short film competition 1 minut film will be appointed by the jury members Amir Chamdin, Katti Hoflin and Manne Lindwall.
