SOL Film Festival screening and workshop schedule

SOL Film Festival has released its Movie Screening and Workshop Schedule
“The First National Film Festival to Visit Hampton Roads”

SOL Film Festival, the most highly anticipated film festival to ever visit the Hampton Roads region, has released its film screening and workshop/seminar schedule. Although, the festival includes projects from filmmakers throughout the country, festival committee members are enthused to announce the acceptance of seven projects involving local filmmakers. The short film, “Ecology of Love” written and directed by Brin Hill, starring and produced by Virginia Beach’s native “super music producer” Pharrell Williams is an A-plus rated love story and is guaranteed to provide Williams with a future in the film industry. Also, an intriguing documentary, “Nick, Luke, and Linda” by local filmmakers Phil and Pamela Wright will raise the bar of qualitative works uprooted out of Virginia.

The festival is dedicated to educating the aspiring filmmaker and creating marketing opportunities for the striving filmmaker by way of educational workshops and the screening of their works in theatres. The following filmmakers’ workshops are facilitated at the Courtyard Marriott - Downtown, Norfolk.
