Movable film salon travels on the road

Premiering on January 16 in the heart of Main Street in Park City, Utah, Skyy Spirits, LLC will debut its SKYY View Lounge, a cinema-inspired moveable salon designed to showcase original content, host the hottest premiere parties, provide networking opportunities and hold thought-provoking film events in a contemporary, stylish cocktail-inspired atmosphere.

Drenched in SKYY’s signature cobalt blue with clean lines and stylish furnishings, the SKYY View Lounge will showcase SKYY’s short programs and other original content on multiple plasma screens. During the day, guests including celebrities, media and film industry executives, will be invited to the SKYY View Lounge to escape the snow and madness of Main Street to relax with friends, hold business meetings, enjoy beverages, and bring their laptops and wireless cards to check emails.

The first Eyes on SKYY, a SKYY-sponsored discussion exploring contemporary issues in film will be held at noon on January 19th. Building on SKYY’s deep support for the short film format, this Eyes on SKYY will draw talent from today’s leading makers of short films including: Genevieve Turner of Showtime's "The L Word"; Bobby Bauer, president, Standard Film Trust; Mika Salmi, founder, Atom Films; John Manulis, founder, Visionbox; and John Halecky, senior shorts programmer, iFilm,

Another highlight of the SKYY View Lounge will be the TiVo viewing area, where VIPs can catch up on their favorite TV programs missed while filling their days with independent films at the festivals.

Each evening, the SKYY View Lounge will be transformed into a cocktail lounge destination for private parties with studios, agencies and corporate partners, where SKYY will sample the SKYY Vodka line of products.

Conveniently located in the heart of Main Street across the street from the Egyptian Theatre and open to invited VIP guests from 12pm to 5pm from Friday, January 16th through Tuesday, January 20th, the SKYY View Lounge will be Park City’s networking and entertainment hub. After debuting in Park City, the SKYY View Lounge will appear at other cinema events in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles.
