Meryl Streep, Zeta Jones and R Chamberlain SAG presenters

RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN, MERYL STREEP AND CATHERINE ZETA-JONES NAMED PRESENTERS FOR THE 10th ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS®

2004 SAG Awards to Air on Turner Network Television (TNT) on Sunday, February 22 at 8 pm ET/PT

Los Angeles, California – Eight-time SAG Award® nominee Meryl Streep will be joined by Richard Chamberlain and three-time SAG Awards® recipient Catherine Zeta-Jones as presenters for the 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, Executive Producer Jeff Margolis announced today.

They join previously announced SAG President Melissa Gilbert, Michael Douglas, and Renee Zellweger in paying tribute to their colleagues at Screen Actors Guild’s annual celebration of excellence.

Turner Network Television (TNT) will telecast the 2004 SAG Awards ceremonies live from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at 8 pm ET/PT, 7 pm Central and 6 pm Mountain.

Meryl Streep is nominated for an Actor® this year for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for “Angels In America.” Screen Actors Guild has honored her with four nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture: for “The River Wild” in 1995, “The Bridges of Madison County” in 1996, “One True Thing” in 1999 and “Music From the Heart” in 2000. She received two nominations last year for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for “Adaptation” and “The Hours.” She was nominated in the same category in 1997 for “Marvin’s Room.” The 2004 SAG Awards marks Ms. Streep’s first appearance as a presenter at the televised Actor® ceremonies.

The 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® also mark Richard Chamberlain’s first appearance as a presenter at the Actors®. Mr. Chamberlain has enjoyed an illustrious career including Golden Globe Awards for his leading performances in the miniseries “The Thorn Birds” and “Shogun.” Mr. Chamberlain recently published his biography, “Shattered Love.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones has taken home the Actor® three times. In 2003 she was honored for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role and shared the award for Outstanding Performance by the Cast of a Theatrical Motion Picture for “Chicago.” She also went on to win an Oscar® for “Chicago” for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. In 2001 she received an Actor® as a member of the cast of the film “Traffic.” The 2004 SAG Awards will mark Ms. Zeta-Jones’ first appearance as a presenter at the Actor® ceremonies.
