Hollywood's legendary movie palace, The El Capitan Theatre, invites moviegoers to "Meet the Robinsons" in spectacular Disney Digital 3-D(TM) during its special engagement of Disney's exciting new computer-animated feature, from March 30th -- May 20th, it was announced today (March 8, 2007) by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. Adding to the fun, an exclusive animation exhibit in the theatre's lobby will provide unique insights into the making of this spectacular new comedy-adventure. On the same program, in its first big screen appearance in 54 years, will be Walt Disney's classic 1953 3-D short, "Working for Peanuts," starring Donald Duck and Chip & Dale. Guests will also have a chance to have breakfast with Chip & Dale (reservations required) at a special character breakfast preceding the 10:00 am showing at Disney's Soda Fountain and Studio Store.
Regular showtimes are 10:00 am, 12:25 pm, 2:50 pm, 5:15 pm, 7:40 pm, and 9:55 pm. To commemorate the occasion, Disney's Soda Fountain will also be offering a special sundae called the "T-Rex Treat." It consists of two scoops of chocolate chip ice cream, layered with hot fudge and marshmallow toppings, with chopped snickers and dinosaur sprinkles added for good measure.
