SYNOPSIS
Following a ten-year sentence for the murder of his father, Justin DeMeer has been released from prison. Entering a world he has never known as an adult, Justin tries to rebuild his life and repair the damaged relationship with his younger sister, Hayden, an up-and-coming rock star. No sooner is he out than he learns his sister’s recording career is in jeopardy as she struggles financially to continue on… Believing fate has ordained him to protect her, Justin makes a decision that will affect the lives of everyone he cares about. After a failed attempt at legitimate work, Justin turns to the one thing he has become quite familiar with in the prison mechanic shop… how to steal cars. Justin quickly puts together a scheme… working with a valet, who gives him inside information on expensive sports cars, Justin retrieves cars for a greedy chop shop owner, Manny, who’s brother taught him the skills while in prison. As fate would have it, he inadvertently jacks a car that belongs to a notorious drug dealer, a narcissistic Rock-a-Billy gangster who has a penchant for fine clothing and torturing his victims. When Manny discovers the drugs hidden in the car, he secretly sells it off to some unsuspecting mid-level drug dealers, a pair of Rastafarian wannabes, who see the stash as a windfall… the decision will cost them dearly as the Gangster, Gino Maretti, navigates his way back through everyone who unfortunately touched his drugs, and makes them suffer the ultimate price. It isn’t long before Gino traces his stash back to Manny, who leads them not to Justin, but to his sister… Hayden. When it seems that Justin will find vindication for his past and repair his relationship with Hayden, Gino’s bloody vendetta comes home. To enact a satisfying revenge, Gino forces Justin to confront him in a game that could leave everyone Justin cares about, dead.
