KinÈo Cinema Italiano in Venice Awards I Vicerè

Sunday August 31st the award show of KinÈo Cinema Italiano took place at Hotel Des Bains – Visconti Hall.
The Award, the first in the world voted by a large public, started 7 years ago on an initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and is organized with the Italian Movie† Institutions, AGIS, ANEC and Rai Trade and the support of S. Pellegrino. The Kineo  Award is unique because it's voted by a large public (in about 500 theatres), by the readers of 18 widespread magazines and newspapers and by a jury of their editors. In competition a selection of films in the theatres from march 2007 to march 2008.

Best Director

Roberto Faenza for "I Vicerè"

Performance by an actor in a leading role

Elio Germano for "Mio fratello è figlio unico"

Performance by an actress in a leading role - ex aequo

    Violante Placido for "Lezioni di cioccolato"

    Vittoria Puccini for "Colpo d'occhio"

Performance by an actor in a supporting role

    Alessandro Gassman for "Caos calmo"

Performance by an actress in a supporting role - ex aequo

Micaela Ramazzotti for "Tutta la vita davanti"

Best Debuting Artist
