ITN slate for next AFM

The Acquisitions team at ITN Distribution Inc. (ITN) has gone into overdrive as they announce their slate of films for the 2007 American Film Market (AFM). ITN staffers will be conducting sales for territories worldwide in Suite 825 at the Lowes Santa Monica Beach hotel. This year’s films are a diverse mix of high-concept features, shorts and high-quality documentaries in a wide variety of genres such as arthouse, action, war, horror, thriller, comedy and martial arts. Many titles have worldwide rights available and have won awards at film festivals around the globe.

Noteworthy films and talent, include: Lime Salted Love starring Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, The L Word, Sci-Fi Channel’s Painkiller Jane) and Kate Del Castillo (TRADE, Bordertown, Ariel award nominee); Johnny 316 starring controversial actor Vincent Gallo; Valley of Angels starring Danny Trejo (From Dusk Til Dawn, SherryBaby, Grindhouse); Fighting with Anger starring Academy Award Nominee and music legend Willie Nelson; Agenda starring award-wining actor Robert Rusler (Weird Science) and John Bennett Perry (Independence Day) and That’s the Way of the World starring veteran actor Harvey Keitel.

Since its inception in 2001, ITN has been attending the AFM, Marche Du Film/Cannes, MIFED, MIPCOM and NATPE and has shaped a realistic approach to film distribution for the independents and has aggressively expanded its library to over 550 titles.

ITN President Stuart Alson commented, “I am really looking forward to AFM and we expect business to be very brisk at our office. With independent film soaring to new levels, the demand for our film library is exciting. Our team is committed to negotiating the best deal possible with leading buyers and distributors around the world,” said Alson.

To schedule an appointment during AFM, please email Annalisa San Juan at annalisa@itndistribution.com or fax a request to (702) 361-6309. A full catalog of ITN titles and trailers can be viewed at www.itndistribution.com. For all media and interview requests, please email Briege McGarrity at BMcGarrityPR@aol.com. Filmmakers are also invited to make an appointment at the booth if they have a movie available for Acquisitions.

ITN, also famous for hosting the best industry parties will throw their annual AFM party in conjunction with the Fall/Winter edition of Independent Film Quarterly (IFQ). The sponsored event will be held at Holly’s West and will be hosted by Stuart Alson. Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, L Word). Kate del Castillo (Trade, Bordertown). Danny Trejo (From Dusk Til Dawn, Tarantino's Grindhouse. SherryBaby) and Robert Rusler are among the guests confirmed to attend. RSVP’s are mandatory to Nicole Holland nicole@itndistribution.com.
