IndieLisboa invites Marco Müller to jury...

IndieLisboa is proud to announce that the Director of the Venice Film Festival, Marco Müller, will join the Feature Film International Jury of Lisbon's International Independent Film Festival. Marco Müller directed several European film festivals (Turin, Roterdam, Locarno) and has been awarded a number of prizes for his contribution to the discovery and the diffusion of filmmakers and cinema.
Along with Marco Müller, Christoph Terhechte, the Director of Berlinale's Forum, will also join the Feature Film International Jury. Christoph Terhechte has been appointed Head of Berlinale's Forum in June, 2001. He is mostly known for his film critic writtings in German media.
Finally IndieLisboa will also welcome Peter Taylor, programmer of the Short Film section of the International Film Festival Rotterdam, that will be part of the Short Film International Jury.
According to IndieLisboa Directors', “the presence of Marco Müller, Christoph Terhechte and Peter Taylor in the jury is a sign of the festival's international recognition and impact. IndieLisboa is finding its place between the most interesting festivals in the world.”
The 6th edition of IndieLisboa will take place from April 23d to May 3d 2009 and will screen about 200 of the best Portuguese and international films of the year.
IndieLisboa – Lisbon's International Independent Film Festival is organized by Zero em Comportamento, co-produced by EGEAC and finantially supported by the Ministery of Culture/ Cinema and Audiovisual Institute, the Lisbon City Council and the European Union MEDIA Program.
