Throughout the 16th edition of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival which opens this week on Wednesday 21 March filmmakers, film subjects, special guests and panellists will attend post screening discussions and are available for interview. Jon Shenkâ€TMs The Island President tells the story of former President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives, who must grapple with the daunting prospect of his country fighting for physical survival and his citizens becoming ‘environmental refugeesâ€TM.
