Film Independent's Directors Close-Up gives you access to go behind the scenes with prolific film directors and their collaborators. You'll learn about their creative process and discover answers to your questions along the way. Beginning February 8, every Wednesday night for five weeks will cover essential filmmaking topics.

Confirmed speakers include: Jeff Nichols (writer/director Take Shelter, Shotgun Stories), Will Files (sound designer, The Tree of Life, Take Shelter), Mike Mills (writer/director, Beginners, Thumbsucker), Jonathan Levine (director, 50/50, writer,The Wackness), Will Reiser (writer, 50/50), Phil Johnston (writer, Cedar Rapids) and more to be announced.

Moderators will be Robin Swicord (writer, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Jane Austen Book Club), Harry Lennix (actor, Man of Steel, Across the Universe) and Greg Ellwood (Editor-in-Chief, HITFIX.com).
