This year the Festival has programmed 88 films, supporting the already traditional sections: Official, Doc+Doc (documentaries of premiere of the thematic channels in out of competition section), Premiere (premieres) and Point of view, and also a Sample of the best of the Prize DOC Amateur, promoted by Documania , documentary satellite channel.

Like in previous editions, the big documentary channels were present in the Festival:
National Geographic Channel with a world premiere “Dian Fossey's lost movie " that recovers the labour of the naturalist across images and sequences never emitted till now. Campbell was contracted by the National Geographic Society to film Fossey's work. Between 1968 and 1972, he produced more of 23.000m of movie that, finally, only was edited in a small fraction of the original rolls for a movie that Dian used in her conferences.
Odisea releases " The city of the wait " Documania presents a proper production rewarded in prestigious festivals " Owners of Nothing "
Discovery Channel, approaches the topic of the Forum 2004 in a production out of competition " Barcelona, a 1000 días del futuro ".
