The International Euro Arab Film Festival reaches to news accords with the Television of Galicia in its VI edition. After the satisfactory collaboration of the TVG with AMAL the last year, this year the Festival takes up again the way with news initiatives that will enable open a window to the arab world from the homes of the spectators.

In the last edition the collaboration of the TVG consisted of purchase the laws of distribution of nine films that participated in the official section of the Festival and that showed in this year 2008 in the galician channel.

Like this, more of 95.000 spectators accessed to films opened in Spain through Amal 07 and that weren’t frequent films in the traditional circuit.

The films of AMAL 07 opened by TVG this year were: Dunia, The Car until Zigzigland, Belt of fire, Shadows in the night and Beyond the wall; apart from the short film A story of Scherezade, The young people doesn’t like the cows, Go for a walk and Autumn.

In this Vi edition of AMAL, the Television of Galicia reachs to news accords, with the Festival, centred in two spheres.

First of all, the TVG increases the list of winners of the Festival through the Prize of the Television of Galicia to the documentary or of fiction feature film. This is the first year that this prize is summoned and the first prize that the purchases the laws of the emission.

Apart from this new prize of the TVG, it is worth pointing out an increase of the amount of the others prizes. According to this, the prizes of the VI editiont of AMAL 2008 amount to:
