The programme for the 3rd Edinburgh International Film Audiences Conference
(EIFAC) has been finalised - and we're sure you'll love the line-up as much as we do. The event will be truly international: we have contributors from across Europe, and even from down under, talking about audiences from Nairn to Taipei. Papers cover individual films and entire film festivals, the past and the future, babies to baby boomers - but they all focus on empirical film audience research. We have Professor Ian Christie, from the School of Art, Film and Visual Media, Birkbeck, University of London, as our opening speaker. He is Vice President of Europa Cinemas and a Trustee of the Independent Film Parliament and will provide an inspiring start to the conference.

Our closing speaker is Dr Sean Perkins of the UK Film Council. His extensive experience in audience research will ensure that the conference ends on a high note.

EIFAC takes place in the beautiful city of Edinburgh on Thursday, 26 March
