DIY Convention: Do It Yourself In Film, Music and Books

The sixth annual DIY Convention: Do It Yourself In Film, Music and Books has set the first panelists for its 2006 education sessions, to be held February 5-12, 2006 at the Egyptian Theatre in the heart of Hollywood.

Keynotes by Derek Sivers of CDBaby; Chris Vrenna, soundtrack composer for “Doom 3’ and ‘Quake 4”; and songwriter Peter Himmelman are on tap during the two days of panels.

The 2006 DIY Convention features live music performances from national and regional independent acts at various venus across Los Angeles, presented by Spaceland Productions; cutting-edge film screenings, an extensive lineup of panels, workshops and keynote speakers focusing on creating, promoting, protecting and distributing independent film, music and books – and parties, parties, parties!
