Crème de la crème @ the Holywood European Awards

The Hollywood Awards will conclude on the 18th the Hollywood Film Festival which officially began on Tuesday, October 12. The 2004 Annual Hollywood Film Festival incorporates in its activities the Hollywood Film Conference, Hollywood Film Screenings, and Hollywood Awards. FilmFestivals .com is a proud presenting sponsor of the Hollywood European Awards which will be handed out during the prestigious Gala.
This year's presenters will include Kate Beckinsale, Chris Columbus, Laura Dern, Robert Downey Jr., Harrison Ford, Taylor Hackford, Scarlett Johansson, Regina King, Laura Linney, Sam Mendes, Keanu Reeves, Will Smith, Quentin Tarantino, Kerry Washington and Haskell Waxler.

They will be presenting to honorees Annette Bening, Bob Berney, Zach Braff, Stuart Craig, Caleb Deschanel, Leonardo DiCaprio, John Dykstra, Jamie Foxx, Mel Gibson, Keira Knightley, John Logan, Michael Mann, Sally Menke, Ve Neill, Thomas Newman, Robert Rosen, John Travolta, Albert Wolsky and Debra Zane.

The awards will be bestowed as part of the Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony
which will take place on Monday evening, October 18, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The festival's film program includes 16 World premieres and 24 U.S. premieres.
A total of 60 films will be screened.

The festival had its Opening Night Premiere on
October 12 with the World Premiere of the documentary "THE CUTTING EDGE:
THE MAGIC OF MOVIE EDITING," by Wendy Apple and featuring Steven Spielberg,
Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Quentin Tarantino. The festival will close with
the Gala U.S. Premiere of Lions Gate Films' "A LOVE SONG FOR BOBBY LONG,"
by Shainee Gabel and starring John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson, on October
17.

The festival will also present six Centerpiece Premieres. Miramax's "FINDING NEVERLAND," by Marc Forster, starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet; Lions Gate Films' "EULOGY," by Michael Clancy, starring Hank Azaria, Jesse Bradford, Zooey Deschanel, Kelly Preston, Ray
Romano and Debra Winger; United Artists' "UNDERTOW," by David
Gordon Green, starring Jamie Bell, Josh Lucas, Devon Alan, Shiri Appleby and
Dermot Mulroney; Newmarket Films' "P.S.," by Dylan Kidd, starring Laura Linney, Topher Grace, Paul Rudd, Lois Smith, Gabriel Byrne, and Marcia Gay Harden; Paramount Classics "THE MACHINIST" by Brad Anderson, starring Christian Bale and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and "ENDURING LOVE" by Roger Michell, starring Samantha Morton and Daniel
Craig,.
