Bush in 30 seconds ad contest by MOBY, Soros...

Bush in 30 Seconds, is an ad contest that’s intended to bring new talent and new messages into the world of mainstream political advertising. The contest is aimed at selecting the ad that best explains what this President and his policies are really about -- in only 30 seconds.

The Bush in 30 Seconds ad contest has been developed and run by a small team of people: Laura Dawn, David Fenton, Moby, Eli Pariser, Lee Solomon, and Jonathan Soros. They've come together because they believe that by tapping into the vast talent pool of creative people beyond the Beltway, they'll find the right messages and ads to expose the failure of President Bush's policies.

The 15 finalists for Bush in 30 Seconds are posted below.
The winning commercial will be announced at an event on January 12th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

The finalists are also being sent out to a panel of celebrity judges which includes Michael Moore, Donna Brazile, Jack Black, Janeane Garofalo, Margaret Cho and Gus Van Sant. These judges will determine which ad wins the contest overall.

If you're a member of the press, we can get you TV-ready copies of the finalists -- please contact press@bushin30seconds.org with your request.
