Anderson Ranch in collaboration with Aspen Film will present two production workshops in July 2008. These special one week courses will draw on instructor Joel Lee's filmmaking background (bio available on Anderson Ranch & Aspen Film's website). Lights, Camera, Action! is dedicated to creating imagery through video. Students will bring their ideas to life using digital video cameras, digital editing techniques, and their own creativity.Express Your Voice, will teach students to explore the idea of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and then create their own personal video messages. Participants will look at ways of amplifying their creative voice to express a powerful message. Workshops will be taught at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass Village, Colorado, in a classroom setting.
