SATURDAY, APRIL 22, 2006. 10AM – 6:30PM AT WOODLEY PARK, ENCINO. CA. ARTIVIST will celebrate the 60th annual Worldfest.

Artivist is Sponsoring the “ARTIVIST FILM HOUSE” at WorldFest this year. We are screening Films throughout the day focusing on environmental preservation and the interdependence between the environment, animals, and humans.

Artivist is also having an Earth Day Community Forum with invited Guests Speakers, Filmmakers, and Celebrities. Come and join us as we discuss simple, creative, and pro-active ways to get involved in preserving our environment. Films and Forums are all presented at the “Artivist Film House” Tent – so stop by and join the group!

WorldFest is a solar-powered celebration of music, the environment, animals, and humanity. We're helping people learn what they can do for the Earth and its inhabitants.

"ARTIVIST" is the 1st international activist film festival dedicated to addressing Human Rights, Children's Advocacy, Animal Rights and Environmental Preservation. Its mission is to strengthen the voice of international activist artists - "ARTIVISTS" - while raising awareness for social global causes.

THE 2006 ARTIVIST AWARDS honors the winning films of the annual ARTIVIST FILM FESTIVAL and the work of outstanding activist celebrities. Past honorees include: James Cromwell, Mira Sorvino, Ed Begley Jr., Tippi Hedren, Mike Farrell, and France Nuyen.
