Angel Awards: Monaco International Film Festival

The festival dates are 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th December 2006.

This is a non profit making, non violent film festival.

There will be three movie screenings a day (11am, 3pm and 7pm) with the exception of Saturday where there will be one screening at 11.00am
followed by the Angel Awards ceremony in the evening.

At the Princess Grace Theatre - salle du Ponant the Jury will view 3 films a day,
11am, 3pm, 7pm (first day on Thursday) followed by 9pm (21H00)
Greenpeace International Hermitage multi media champagne reception.
Friday, 11am, 3pm, 6pm ..after screening at 8:30 pm evening parties with food champagne at the ALTOVIA Lounge Restaurant next to the Hermitage Hotel followed by another party at the LA RASCASSE overlooking the Yacht Habour.. live music surprise guest appearance

Saturday only screening at 11am ..followed by Jury luncheons decision making all together
..at the Altovia Lounge - Restaurant ..festival hangout and each days Jury luncheon place 1pm

Screenings and awards take place at the prestigious Princess Grace Theatre, Monaco - Monte Carlo and will be attended by an amazing line up of people such as Donovan, Julian Lennon, Duncan James, Vanessa Redgrave, Emma de Gaunes, Cosima Shiva Hagen, David Navidi to name but a few.

Production companies Rainstorm Entertainment and Oasis are filming the entire festival for US/Europe television. A distribution deal is already in place for a US/Europe documentary.

We have also organized a special press call and interview session for film directors and talent with newspapers, magazines, television and radio.

Lining up an interview with actress Kate Robins prior her arrival to Monaco (Kate, cousin of Paul McCartney), she will personally get in touch with Paul for him to attend to give an Angel Award from total of 16 Awards), same time Julian as well..Paul's Godfather is getting in touch with him.
Kate Robins plays a main role in "FATED" worlds premier in Angel Awards competition official selection.

11.00 am ‘FATED’ (UK) Romantic Drama- World-Premiere A fairy tale for adults. One man's obsession with his dead love creates a miracle. When Tatty an artist loses the love of his life, the beautiful free spirit AMY. He blames himself for her untimely death. A part of him dies to. In a state of drunken delirium he creates a statue of her, he places it in the garden of a mystical derelict church. Devoted to this statue for 13 years..until one magical New Years Eve... the statue comes alive.. an immortal kiss, which could bring devastating effects...

3.00 pm ‘STORM OF EMOTIONS’ (Israel) Feature Documentary
On October 26th 2004 the Israeli government decided to pull out of the Gaza strip.
It was clear that this would be one of the most complex and sensitive missions ever carried out.
At the front line the government placed the Israeli police force, charged with the main law
enforcement a situation in which men and woman of the police force had to balance their emotions,
beliefs, consciences and brotherhood with their own people while trying to keep civil order.
An authentic struggle to maintain democracy at any cost. (106 min)

This film is dedicated to the memory of Greenpeace photographer
Fernando Pereira 30th May 1950 - 10th July 1985.

Words of Director Martin Atkin filmmaker believing passionately in the power of the moving image
to change attitudes and behaviour in bringing about a greener and more peaceful world.
After twenty years as writer, producer and director in newspapers, radio and television in the UK,
Martin joined Greenpeace International in 2000 as feature producer. He currently heads the Images
Unit in Amsterdam in producing features and documentaries aimed at global television and news media.

Written, produced and directed by Martin Atkin. (52 min) Delegates of Greenpeace Int'l & Director
scheduled to attend.

global environmental problems and to force solutions for a green and peaceful future.

3.00 pm "THE GATHERING - RETURN OF THE WHALE DREAMERS" (Australia)
Feature Documentary - WORLDS-PREMIERE
Ten years in the making, this full-length feature documentary an experiential film for our times.
A story of Dreaming and interwoven Dreams....

This takes us on a deep global journey into a forgotten magic that connects us all.
The wisdom of Indigenous Elders from around the world permeate the film, offering
up the all too familiar warnings of where humanity seems to be going…
but it also reflects back to us that we collectively can also come back from the edge of extinction…
it is not too late. People around the world are waking up. For the first time on film! -
Aboriginal Whale Calling ceremonies are being shared.The Gathering is an invitation for us all to
come back to the Fire... the Dreaming... and the Natural World. Directed and written by Kim Kindersley.

Director Kim Kindersley, born in England & having a working background in the entertainment
business, Kim has devoted himself to exploring & documenting the deep connection between
whales, dolphins & humanity. Julian Lennon, long-time friend of Kim, one of the producers of the
film and lend some of the music to it, back into the studio to re-record 'Saltwater'
and a new album due for release late 2006. Cast: Pierce Brosnan, John Hurt , Julian Lennon,
Geoffrey Rush, Jack Thompson Awards Winning Australian Actor.

Fifi has an uncontrollable Talent for culinary seduction. Over one busy night in the culinary underbelly,
boredom will become fantasy and a bit of love and fantasy come together where life is a buffet and
everything is short order.

As a publicity stunt for the book, they try to find soulmates for three lonely Londoners,
but things don't go according to plan. Luke, Barry, and Melanie are the three unlucky-in love
hopefuls who pay good money to take part in Candy and Randy's promotional promise....
