"CIFF strives to highlight films and filmmakers that bring acclaim to the film industry in the province of Alberta," explains Jacqueline Dupuis, CIFF's Executive Director. "Both Robert Cuffley, who lives in Calgary and Ang Lee, who directed BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN here, are filmmakers whose names are synonymous with not only the Alberta Film Industry, but with quality films and compelling stories. We are thrilled to be the first to present these new films by these extraordinary filmmakers to a Western Canadian audience."
