23 German films in Cannes

The Export-Union of German Cinema will be presenting 23 new German films at the Marché du Film at the film festival in Cannes (12 – 23 May 2004) on behalf of German producers and distributors.

The following German films can be seen in the market from 14 – 19 May in 36 screenings:

„New German Films“ is one of the most important services provided by the Export-Union for the rights-holders of German films. The Export-Union hires a cinema screen at the Marché du Film in Cannes and offers screening slots to interested producers and exporters in return for a participation in the costs. It supports the screenings with a series of promotional measures for the complete programme. The Export-Union is not involved in selecting the films presented
