13 at the table LAIFA winner

Luigi Campanile, Executive Director of LAIFAFEST 2005 today announced that the film "13 At A Table" is the winner of the Seventh Annual Los Angeles Italian Film Awards.

After screening this year excellent selection of Italian films at the festival, the Jury found "13 At A Table" very entertaining, fun and reminded them of the wonderful golden age of Italian Cinema. The film was beautifully shot and well directed by Enrico Oldoini. There are so many wonderful characters for everyone to enjoy, it was a real ensemble acting achievement. You may not want to be invited for dinner everyday, but make your reservation for "13 At A Table" you will enjoy it!

The Jury members consisted of Bernard Hiller well know Hollywood Acting Coach to many stars, Mauro Borrelli, Director & Producer and Kurt MacCarley Director.

The festival kicked-off on Monday, April 11 with the Opening Night U.S Premiere "13 At A Table" written/directed by Enrico Oldoini. The Closing Night selection was "After Midnight" written/directed by Davide Ferrario.

Premier Sponsors ArcLight Cinemas, Gruppo Italgest, CineSalento, D'Argenzio Winery, McVicar Beer, and The Babiolus cafè sponsored the Opening Night party and Closing Night Party.

Over the past seven years LAIFAFEST has evolved into a world-class event, dedicated to building a creative bridge between Hollywood and the Italian filmmaking community.
