10th Student and Short Films Festival Sleepwalkes awards
10th Student and Short Films Festival Sleepwalkes took place between 12.-15. November in 2009 in Von Krahl Theatre and Kinomaja. https://webmail.zone.ee/zjs/fckeditor/editor/dialog/www.poff.ee/sleepwalkers
10th Sleepwalkers is over. Main awards are from Kodak, Digital Film Finland and Finnlab. Best Estonian short film will receive a prize from Overall AS. Jury awards for international student film competition programme:

"Sunstroke" Dir: Lili Horvath Prod: Henning Kamm, Karoly Feher DoP: Robert Maly Hungary, Germany Comment by jury: "Best use of cinematic language in feature film"
"Noesis" Dir: Sophie Klevenow Prod: Sophie Klevenow DoP: Sophie Klevenow Great Britain Comment by jury: "Good idea, told in a nice form. Inspiring."
Prize for the best documentary - a clapperboard and a diploma "Arsy Versy" Dir: Miro Remo Prod: Marek Ježo DoP: Jaro Valko Slovakia Comment by jury: "A wonderful example on how a documentary maker narrates a story through a strong visual!"
International jury had a right to give up to three special diplomas. "Bingo" Dir: Timur Ismailov Prod: Tobias Wilbrink, Maarten van der Ven DoP: Lennart Verstegen Dutch Comment by jury: "For courage to handle difficult subject in soft tone."

Comment by jury: "Powerful emotional impact without giving away all the answers." Jury award for best Estonian short film: Winner will be awarded in the opening ceremony of PÖFF's main program in 26th November.
