"Through the Pane" to tour Iraq with Samawa Cinema! "Through the Pane" will tour Iraq with Samawa Cinema July 18-22, 2016. Director Dawn Westlake is particularly honored by this opportunity to participate in one of Iraq's four film festivals because it is her belief that culture promotes empathy...which in turn curbs violence. "Through the Pane" is based on Donald G. Westlake's memoir about his acceptance of his wife's death. They were very happily married for 62 years. Cinematography/Editing/VFX were executed by Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs scored.
