"Through the Pane" to have African Premiere! "Through the Pane" will have its African premiere at the Rwanda Film Festival in Kigali, Rwanda July 22-29, 2016. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, the film is based on the memoir chapter of Donald G. Westlake, the director's father. A guitarviol scored was performed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson's music was recently featured in Tom Tykwer's "A Hologram for the King", starring Tom Hanks. Cinematography/Editing & Special Effects on "Through the Pane" were provided by Imatge Barcelona's Pol Carrizo Vilarroig.
