"Scrappy" has been selected to Invicines Film Festival in Cordoba, Argentina for September 6th, 2017. This is the South American premiere for "Scrappy".

The film was helmed and produced by Dawn Westlake under her Ron de Cana Productions, Inc. shingle. It is based on the Studs Terkel Humanities Award-winning poem by her father, Donald G. Westlake. Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona shot the film on a C300 provided by Canon USA, Inc. He also edited and did VFX. The film was scored by 2016 Peer Raben Music Award nominee GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.

"Scrappy" introduces Nefertina Lizarraga and her dog Kong. It also features GrissyG, Dismas, Bruce Rheins, and Dawn Westlake provided the narration.
