A whole 37 years after the release of Rambo - First Blood in 1987, Sylvester Stallone himself returned back to the Croisette on friday to promote his new film Rambo V - Last Blood, which will be releasing this coming Fall.
The last time Stallone was featured on the Red Carpet in Cannes, it was for the premiere of his hit film Cliffhanger. The action flick star was honored last night with special screening of Ted Kotcheff’s Rambo - First Blood in the Grand Théâtre Lumière. Before the screening Stallone attended a press roundtable discussion. Needless to say people were excited for both events as Stallone fans and admirers walked up and down the outside of the Palais for a chance to gain an invitation.
Rambo V - Last Blood (directed by Adrian Grunberg) will be released in September and will star Stallone (obviously), Oscar Jaenada, and Paz Vega.
