Leto Rocks Tonight
Tonight’s film Leto (L’Ete) will whisk the audience back to 80’s Leningard Russia, Modern-Day St. Petersburg, where the underground rock scene was very popular and it’s here that Viktor Tsoi arrives with the desire to become famous. He meets his idol, Mike and his wife Natasha, and they help Viktor become well-known and make his name unforgettable. The Director Kirill Serebrennikov will be unable to attend the showing tonight as he is under house arrest in Russia, but he is not forgotten as supporters in the Russian film community stand up for the man’s character.
