BUFF SEASON TO BE SHOWN ON COMMUNITY CHANNEL THIS OCTOBER

BUFF Presents... a series of films showcased by the British Urban Film Festival will be screened as part of a special series on Community Channel this October. This is the second season of BUFF programming on the channel this year.

In April, viewers saw the directorial debut of Aml Ameen with the short film “Drink, Drugs & KFC” and his latest film “12” will premiere as part of the series. Other films to be shown include a film produced by the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust Youth Ambassadors, ACLT: The Gift of Life, and Countdown to BUFF 2012 - a preview of the 7th Annual British Urban Film Festival.

Alexander Kann, general manager of Community Channel said: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to showcase up and coming talent on Community Channel and am extremely pleased to be delivering a number of UK premieres as part of the season. The first season of BUFF films was extremely well received by viewers and I am pleased to be showing a selection of great new content and repeating some old favourites including the fantastic documentary “Before They Were Dubz.”

BUFF Presents...will broadcast on Community Channel on Monday 8th October at 9pm and N-Dubz - Before They Were Dubz on Sunday 14th October at 11.00pm.

Community Channel is owned and run by communications charity Media Trust and can be viewed 24 hours a day, on Virgin 233, on Sky 539 and on Freeview 87 from 5am-8am.
