VIGGO Line up for EFM 2022
Giovanna (Clara Calamai) meets Gino (Massimo Girotti), a rough and handsome vagabond. Their passionate affair leads to the murder of Giovanna's husband. Can a strong and sensual affair survive the guilt? A dark and provocative drama of sexual tension adapted from James M. Cain's classic novel The Postman Always Rings Twice.
The film is available, for the first time, in the restored version of 141' made by VIGGO with Istituto Luce - Cinecittà and CSC - Cineteca nazionale premiered in June 2018 in New York at the Lincol Center.
