Shooting Stars in Berlin

The hottest young European actors and actresses have been announced by European Film Promotion as SHOOTING STARS 2007. 25 up-and-coming actors have been chosen by EFP member organizations across Europe, and will go on to take part in a series of events at the Berlin International Film Festival (10th - 12th February) designed to encourage the international film industry, media and public to acknowledge the incredible screen talent that lies within Europe.

In very special anniversary celebrations, the SHOOTING STARS 2007 will be presented to the international media, industry and public at a series of glittering events at the opening weekend of the festival (February 10th - 12th), culminating in an awards ceremony presented by the festival director, and Gala Reception attended by VIPs from the worlds of entertainment and film.

SHOOTING STARS, now in its tenth year, has supported the careers of almost 200 aspiring young actors over the past decade - previous SHOOTING STARS include Daniel Craig (Casino Royale), Rachel Weisz (The Mummy, The Constant Gardener, About a Boy), Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy) and Daniel Brühl (Good Bye Lenin!, The Edukators).

SHOOTING STARS 2007 at BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL: February 10th - 12th
- Press conference: Monday 12th February, 11am
- Interviews available with all Shooting Stars 2007
