GOOD GIRL GONE BAD a film by Petra Lüschow
In 1980s Germany, 17-year-old Ursula falls for her charismatic teacher Siegfried and thus gets involved with the peace movement. Siegfried‘s believe in free love, however, turns the entire village upside down…
An authentic and highly entertaining dive into the eighties in Germany, where – during the peak of the Cold War – open relationships were put to the test and the environmental movement gained steam. Anna Florkowski delivers a stunning performance as Ursula, a free-spirited and modern girl, born into a conservative family, still bound in the hidebound patterns of female self-restraint. Florian Stetter ("Beloved Sisters", "Stations of the Cross") and Thorsten Merten ("Grill Point") round out the cast. Hermann Beyer ("Dark", "The Elementary Particles") has a hilarious turn as the girl’s grandfather, stoically hushing up his presumably Nazi past in this surprising debut.

THE REFORMER - ZWINGLI, A LIFE'S PORTRAIT a film by Stefan Haupt
The young priest Ulrich Zwingli makes waves with his increasing attacks on the Catholic Church's excesses. However, he almost triggers a civil war when he marries the young widow Anna and tries to end the prevailing system of fear and oppression.
Like Luther and Calvin, Zwingli is one of the leading reformers of the Catholic Church. His revolutionary ideas focused on the church, but also didn't stop at the state, the military and society. Award-winning director Stefan Haupt („The Circle“, „Elisabeth Kübler-Ross”, “Utopia Blues”) directs the gripping true story with historical accuracy and emotional depth. Maximilian Simonischek („Hindenburg: The Last Flight“, „Divine Order“) delivers a stunning performance as Zwingli - one of Europe’s most courageous, religious men. Also starring are Stefan Kurt (“Dreileben”) and Anatole Taubman (“Quantum of Solace”, “P.O.W.”, “Servants”).

SCARBOROUGH a film by Barnaby Southcombe
In a once glamorous Scarborough hotel, away from prying eyes, two couples laugh, quarrel, and make love as they come to terms with the impossibility of their forbidden love. At barely 16 years old, two of them are still at school... and the others, their teachers.
Part love story and probing social commentary, Scarborough explores the impulsive nature of forbidden love and its unpredictable consequences. The dilapidated charm of the Victorian hotel makes for an interesting counterpoint with the teenage lovers’ youthful optimism and careless passion. Directed by Barnaby Southcombe (“I, Anna”), the film stars Jessica Barden (“The End of the F***ing World”, “The Lobster”), Jodhi May (“Ginger & Rosa”), Jordan Bolger (“iBoy”, “Peaky Blinders”) and Edward Hogg (“Imagine”, “Anonymous”) in the lead roles, and is produced by Christopher Granier-Deferre (“Lady Macbeth”, “The Levelling”, “Apostasy”).

303 a film by Hans Weingartner
On the way from Berlin to Portugal in her rusty „303“ camper van, young biology student Jule picks up hitchhiker Jan. While having intense conversations about everything and the world, they try not to fall in love.
Hans Weingartner ("The Edukators", "Hut in the Woods") sends his protagonists on an exciting road trip across Europe, striking the nerve of the times in his dialogues. Socio-political depth and a tender love story meld into a captivating, light-handed, profoundly moving boy-meets-girl story.

East Germany, 1989. Twelve-year-old Fritzi lovingly takes care of her best friend Sophie's little dog Sputnik, while Sophie's family is on summer vacation in Hungary. When Sophie doesn't come back from vacation, Fritzi and Sputnik set out in search of her.
