Zurich Film Festival Wrapped
We're wrapping up 11 days of festival – coming together, exploring new voices, debating the future of cinema and making new friends. Find below a recap of our key industry events.

During the past three months, participants have developed a marketing, distribution, sales and festival strategy for their film through discussions and individual meetings with international experts as well as collaborative group work. ZFF hosted the project showcase pitching as closing session of the programme. |

Zurich Summit & Zurich Market

The Zurich Summit was the first conference since the lockdown where leaders of the film industry met again physically to discuss how the industry will continue in the Covid age. Industry leaders left with new inspiration for our challenging future. Alongside the Zurich Summit the Zurich Market invited sales agents and buyers to discover a few fresh titles in collaboration with the San Sebastián Film Festival. |

The female speakers impressed the audience with personal insights and their wide-range of expertise. |

The public was invited on a sneak peek behind the scenes of the local film industry. A film stroll along the value chain of the film business from production to distribution with special treats like the presentation of a film music reel, self-made animations and special effect demos. |

Zurich Film Night
29.9. – Meet up with filmmakers and politicians |

Zürcher Filmstiftung & ZFF host politicians and the industry
|
|
The traditional Zurich Film Night reloaded invited politicians and filmmakers for an exchange to raise awareness for what it takes to make a film. A production manager and location scout presented making of footage to show how complex it is to produce a film. The night was rounded off with the premiere of the first Zurich Tatort «Züri brännt». |

The first ever SoundTrack_Zurich edition brought composers, music supervisors, producers and directors together at ZFF. More than two days dedicated to sound and music in film with B2B matchmaking sessions, workshops, discussions, case studies and live events. |
