How to Win Enemies (Como Ganar Enemigos): NYJFF Review

By Maria Esteves – January 27, 2016

HOW TO WIN ENEMIES (COMO GANAR ENEMIGOS), is a heartfelt redemptive family comedy, crime mystery set in present day Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lucas Abadi (Martin Slipak) an aspiring crime novelist and attorney who works at his family law firm becomes a victim of a crime, is compelled to solve the mystery. The film begins with a beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony scene, then the story cleverly unfolds returning back to the wedding reception scene and speech presentation made by the bridegroom his brother Max (Javier Drolas).
