The American Documentary Film Festival's 13th annual event takes place March 21 -25, 2024.

The 8th Annual American Documentary Film Festival is set to begin this Friday in #PalmSprings Filmfestivals.com is happy to cover. Geoff Callan is an award winning director, producer, and accomplished actor with over 25 years of experience in film, television, advertising, and New Media. As Senior Manager of Programming for the Sundance Film Festival, Adam Montgomery has overseen the selection process since 2005, with over 14,000 submissions received annually. In addition to programming feature films and documentaries for the Festival, he also lends his past experience in television development to Sundance’s newest Festival program, Indie Episodic. Nita Deda is the Director of International and Short Film Festival DokuFest, the largest cultural event in Kosovo. Previously she was the Head of Communication of the festival and programmer of the music program of the festival DokuNights.
Shannon Miller is a motivational speaker and former Olympic Hockey Coach and 5 Time NCAA Championship Women's Hockey Coach. Shannon is currently working on a new Hollywood and documentary biopic on her experiences fighting gender discrimination. Dale Knorr received his BA degree in Radio/Television/Film from Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater. His career in motion picture and television production spanned 35 years, where he worked in both the public and private sectors, as well as many network TV broadcasts and independent freelance projects. Dale currently teaches documentary film history and critical analysis at the Life Long Learning Institute, Cal State University San Bernardino. Rezeta Veliu was born in Prishtina, Kosovo. She is an actress, known for Rezeta (2012), Girls (2012) and Voices. Bruno Chatelin co founded filmfestivals.com which regularly partners with the largest festivals and markets (Cannes, AFM, Toronto, Locarno, Venice…) and has served over 6.000 festivals worldwide and a community of 370 000 unique monthly visitors, and newsletter subscribers base of 196 000. Prior to this he ran Sony and 20th Century Fox Theatrical in France, he started his career with international ad agencies and has a film consulting boutique specialised in festival strategy. Guy Kennedy is a serial entrepreneur, co founded filmfestivals.com - innovator, founding director of AB01 a digital Media and communication company in London Operated in Europe Based in London / Geneva Tom White is editor of Documentary magazine, the print and online publication of the IDA, and he has written for several other publications. Craig Prater, President of Heartland International Film Festival joined the 28-year old organization in 2016. Previous to his current position, he served with entertainer Sonny Bono as the Executive Director of the Palm Springs International Film Festival, co-founded the PS International Short Film Festival and co-founded the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival. Dr. John Osborne has worked on AmDocs programming for seven years running, traveling the world in search of matches for our audiences and industry guests. John taught college English, religion and film studies for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2014. Dion Eusepi is a technology industry veteran focused on innovation in the delivery and distribution of digital media content that changes the landscape of filmmaking in the 21st century. His work includes comprehensive platform solutions for digital content distribution, delivery, and marketing that exploit the emerging multiscreen entertainment eco-system. His efforts with Synimatica enable technology tools and platforms that help fundraisers, festivals, and independent filmmakers shape the future on screens of all sizes using multiple technologies to seed projects and reach modern and globally diverse audiences.
