Director: Gautam Sen.
Ekjon Jhumur (Jhumur, the girl) is the story of a self-respectful, independent-minded young lady of today in her late twenties. Her consciousness of life, morality and her own entity are intermingled with theater. The undaunted spirit places her above the nitty-gritty of daily life. She seeks emancipation through her medium of self-expression - the theater. The patriarchal society seems not to be tolerant with her sense of emancipation. It tries to delimit her within the conventional notion of womanhood. There's only women's fight against conventional society. A fight - Jhumur's own. Her ammunition - her challenge - the theater.
Director: Roberto F. Canuto.
"Toto Forever" tells the impossible love story between a young postmen, that dreams with a new life, and a gangster, that is in deep trouble with a mafia group. Toto will never lose the "hope", despite of the traumatic end of the affair.Filmed in 16mm, Toto is a fable in which the feelings and emotions are always fully exposed, with a very poetic and symbolic narrative and aesthetic very close to the Animé Japanese.
Director: Fergal Rock.
In a time of unprecedented economic depression, mass unemployment and civil unrest, one group has borne the brunt of society’s scorn – the clowns. Henry & Sunny is the bittersweet tale of Henry, an unemployed clown, in love with the famous soap opera actress, Sunny Carmichael. He writes her letters daily yet fear of rejection prevents him from disclosing his return address. Sunny, stifled by a sycophantic showbiz world, reciprocates Henry’s feelings but is tragically unable to reach him. Beautifully photographed in high contrast black & white, Henry & Sunny is a melancholy tale of true love against all odds.
Director: Kineret Hay-Gillor.
Carmel was once a promising athlete. Today, due to progressive muscular dystrophy he runs a small shop with sports equipment. His wife, Sara, helps him with everyday chores. The film’s author - Kineret Hay-Gillor – portraying the struggles of her parents with the father’s illness, draws a poignant picture, touching the topic of human devotion and love.

Following in the footsteps of the Australian version of the Sexy International Film Festival (SIFF) Melbourne , The Sexy International Paris Film Festival (SIPFF)(Association Loi 1901)
has been created as a uniquely francophone version of the festival, focusing on strong Francophone content as part of its international program.
Already in its second year in Australia the festival has already doubled in size and popularity due to its
themes which resonate with audiences.
The Sexy International Paris Film Festival's (SIPFF) goals are to discover, promote and screen the best independent films from around the world that explore the themes of "Sexy" -sexuality, love, marriage, divorce, lust, romance, seduction, relationships and the erotic.
The festival aims to enlighten, educate, create discussion and debate, as well as allow audience interaction in relation to various projects within SIPFF.
The festival follows a code of ethic, with the festival being porn-free and smut-free. Films considered to be pornographic in nature will not be screened at the festival.
There will be an audience vote to determine the Sexiest Short and Sexiest feature of the festival as well as a jury to determine the best short and best feature of the festival.
As well as the main festival in June 2010, SIPFF will be presenting MiNi SiPFF, as part of the Zonerotikon Festival ("Zonerotikon rien à voir avec le X / Cabarets de Cirqu'Conférences
pluridisciplinaires") at Cabaret Sauvage, a wonderful circus tent at Porte de la Villette (Paris) with screenings throughout 2010.

The festival takes place October 17th & 18th at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, CA! Check out the movie programs online at www.ladyfilmmakers.com.

Romance, alas, can come to the big split...but how to forget those gorgeous eyes?
The window of an old farm house is left open, in the evening, leading to intrigue and romance for a schoolgirl, in rural Australia.
Visions of a lady in pink haunt the corridors and veranda of a grand colonial homestead.
Two innocent, teenage sisters decide to cross the threshold of romantic fantasy, and escape their humble, rural existence.
Two sisters ponder the romance of the classics of English Literature in "Foundations Of the Heart".
As in the images of the old classic paintings, a gypsy tribe trespasses the boundaries of a small farm, and a young girl's adolescent passions and dreams are brought to life when she encounters a captivating visitor on her veranda.
A treat for the senses; this sweet bossa nova drips with romance, and seduces me into dreams of flying to the film festival in Tahiti! Deep throated Brazilian diva Angela Ro Ro sings with a lusty yearning for the cinema, 'the Princess and the Sea'
I've fallen in love with the luscious melody and the portuguese lyrics- liberally something along the lines of;
"I lose my problems, I feel great - I'm from Ipanema beach - if I'm homesick, I go to the cinema, I go to see 'The Princess and The Sea'.. but if I find a new love, then the film has the flavour of wet kisses, in the darkness we can live a little time alone... I go with a passion... I lose my problems, I feel great... If I need to, every day of the week, I return to my love of the cinema"
3:04 minutes (3 MB)
A passionate kiss on the doorstep turns terribly wrong as a couple's tender love ignites.
This experimental comedy delivers its message like a slap in the face. Its a scene that seems so familiar it unwinds like a deja vu... a flash forward and flash back to the beginning and the end of a love-hate romance.
