Our esteemed panel of award-winning industry professionals including directors, producers, agents, managers, executives, and casting directors will meticulously assess all film and screenplay submissions. Expert script readers, filmmakers and story analysts are slated to carefully review all entries. The top contenders are then forwarded on to our executive industry judges, from various sectors within the entertainment and publishing industries, for final evaluations to determine the winners for each category.

The B!tchFest Film Festival & Screenplay Contest is set to take place at the WhiteFire Theatre on Ventura Blvd in Los Angeles on November 24, 2024.  We're gearing up for an in-person event that shines a spotlight on films and screenplays submitted by the most talented Women and LGBTQIA+ Creators from around the world. Winners of all Film Category Awards will have a live screening of their film at the in-person festival on November 24, 2024 at the WhiteFire Theatre in Los Angeles.

Trophy’s will be awarded in-person to all winners of the Film Category Awards, Screenplay Category Awards, and Cast and Crew Awards during the Festival Awards Ceremony. These winners will also be invited to speak about their project during the Festival’s Live-Recorded Panel which will stream on our website, take professional photos on the Red Carpet and attend the Industry Meet-And-Greet Event aimed at making new connections. Additionally, all Official Selections and Winners will receive two complimentary tickets to the festival.

The Best of Festival / Grand Jury Award Winner & Best Feature Film Winner will receive a 1-Hour Zoom Mentorship Meeting with one of our Executive Film Industry Judges.

The Best Feature Screenplay Winner & Best Short Screenplay Winner will receive a 1-Hour Zoom Mentorship Meeting with one of our Executive Screenwriting Industry Judges where they will get feedback on their script and advice on how to move the screenplay into production.

The Winner of Best Actress/Actor and Best Supporting Actress/Actor will receive a 1-Hour Zoom Meeting with a Casting Director from Tiffany Company Casting and free admission to TCC’s next scheduled Virtual Acting Workshop.

For consideration, projects should feature at least one WOMAN in a key production role, such as the Director, Writer, Producer, Cinematoprapher, Lead Actress, ect. Screenplays authored by WOMEN are preferred; however, if written by a man, the script must include at least one FEMALE lead character for submission. While projects helmed by men are welcome, they must either showcase a female protagonist or revolve around women's isues and themes to be eligible.

For LGBTQIA+ category submissions, projects should feature at least one LGBTQIA+ person in a key production role, such as the Director, Writer, Producer, Cinematoprapher, Lead Actor/Actress, ect. Screenplays, to qualify, must either include one LGBTQIA+ character, be authored by a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or the storyline must prominently involve LGBTQIA+ issues and themes.

Moinho Cine Fest – International Film Festival of Micro and Nano Film of Matosinhos considers that the length of the nano film is until to 01:00 (mm:ss) and the micro film is until to 05:00 (mm:ss).

It's a film festival organized by ANARTEM - Associação Cultural and directed by André Almeida Rodrigues, a Portuguese filmmaker.
The 3rd edition of the festival will take place in April 2021 in Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões parish, Matosinhos, Portugal.
In the 2nd edition, the Moinho Cine Fest received 2142 submissions from 103 countries and selected 100 films from 47 countries and the films will be screen on a date to be announced.

GOALS
• Be a showcase of the panorama of world film production in 2019 and 2020, promoting itself as a meeting point for “all world cinema”.
• Want a similar number of films from Portugal (host country), Europe, Asia and Oceania, Africa and Americas (North, Central and South).
• Want a similar total length of animation, documentary, fiction, experimental films, music videos and fashion films.

Bucharest Short Film Festival [BSFF]

Independent is the key word for Bucharest Short Film Festival [BSFF], as it is founded by independent film professionals, and focuses on independent artists in cinema, from all over the world. Bucharest Short Film Festival aims at recognizing, showcasing and spreading-out the most professional, most innovative, and most interesting fresh short international films, while always prioritizing independent short films.

Bucharest Short Film Festival will showcase some of the finest short international film in Narrative, Animation, Student, Experimental, Documentary, Fashion, Music Video, Stop Motion, Human Rights , Trailer, Webisode. We take to heart the amount of work put into each film. Therefore, the festival rules ensure that each movie is reviewed at least two times and well-debated by the jury. Some of the winner films will also be screened at other international film festivals.

Independent artists and their short films will meet an effervescent, and a quite experienced with cinema and film festivals audience, ensuring quality networking, and engaging opportunities, while the selected films will be determined by a panel of industry experts.

Bucharest Short Film Festival is building a new community of interest around international independent film professionals and film lovers, in the heart of one of the most interesting emergent capitals of arts and culture, a city that never sleeps – Bucharest.

The festival will run film screenings, preceeded or followed by artists Q&A, or networking side events, and, surely, parties, that all take place in various conventional and unconventional stages around Bucharest, as in cinemas, open spaces, and even summer theatres. From the founder of Australia's two leading genre film festivals - A Night of Horror International Film Festival and Fantastic Planet, Sydney Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival - comes a cinematic celebration of all things fantastic, frightening, underground, off-beat, alternative, and just plain weird... to the American Midwest!

The Midwest is filled with dark and mysterious byways, strange critters, and mythical beasties. And the great state of Wisconsin has more than its share: from the very real historical monsters Ed Gein and Jeffery Dahmer, to legendary cryptids like the Beast of Bray Road and the Hodag, to strange and wonderful places such as the Forevertron, a UFO landing port, and the mythical town of killer midgets known as Haunchyville.... It's the perfect territory for a festival that focuses on weird cinema from all around the world.

The festival team dreams of MidWest WeirdFest evoking the awe and chills of the sideshow alley of a dark carnival, a place filled with wonders, terrors, and forbidden surprises. The cinematic equivalent of a collection of pulp magazines and underground comix. A film festival that not only celebrates and showcases independent genre cinema - horror, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller - but one that welcomes all types of underground film. From experimental and avant-garde to offbeat documentaries.
