The film tells the story of an ancient Saharan nomadic tribe who, since the 12th century, have linked North Africa and West Africa, guiding their camel caravans across the desert, spreading art and music from Egypt to Mali. "American Jihadist" is a submission to ÉCU 2011. "American Jihadist" is the story of Isa Abdullah Ali, an African-American Muslim from the ghettos of Washington, DC, labeled a "known terrorist" by the U.S. Defense Department though he's never been charged with any crime. Check out the trailer!
