SeeFlik film competition

SeeFlik is an online film competition open to current students and alumni (5 years or less) of an accredited film school. There are two separate competitions, one based on audience votes and one on our panel of judges selections. Each competition will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner, receiving $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500, respectively. In addition, there will be an overall winner based upon a combination of both contests, who will receive the Overall Winner’s Prize of $20,000. SOUND ON SCREEN is the first film festival in South Africa with its focus aimed at music on screen.

 

CELLUDROID Sci-Fi / Anime / Fantasy Film Festival

CELLUDROID is the only South African film festival focussing on Sci-Fi, Anime and Fantasy films, with indie, new and old classics, from short films to feature films. 

A comic book chapter has also been incorporated.

For the 2011 event director Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) will attend the with some of his classic movies, and introduce his new book, Shadow Of The Grail.

Calgary Underground Film Festival

Founded in 2003, CUFF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to programming films that defy convention. Through the screening of contemporary works in various categories that include: feature, documentary, animation, short, and experimental - we bring Calgarians a unique roster of films rarely seen in North American theatres.

The Trailer Festival

The first Trailer Festival took place in June 2010 and the audience was exclusively industry, including Fox, Disney, Paramount and PBS. The trailers are now in an Online Screening Room and so far we have received 72 requests from Hollywood managers, producers and distributors for DVDs and scripts, with 3 deals being negotiated. Sales will continue for the next year.Submissions are now open for the 2011 Trailer Festival, which promises to be an even more successful event than the first.
