Just back from a wonderful trip to LA where I SOLD OUT the fantastic Silent Movie Theatre on Fairfax Ave. in Hollywood with "The Golem"--my live solo guita score accompanying this classic 1920 German horror film!
Just check this review from Debra Levine in ARTS MEME:

Novelist Anne Rice'S 2005 book Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt (Publisher: Alfred A. Knopf, a division of Random House, Inc)which imagines Jesus at the ages of 7-8 is being made into a film slated for release sometime in 2013.
Rice originally had a movie deal with Good News Holdings, but that fell apart in 2009, and the project was shelved indefinitely. But after watching The Stoning of Soraya M, Rice felt like she'd found the right person to bring her story to the silver screen: Am...
Short films dealing with identity robbery, its recognition and recovery,
and the personal and social consequences.
The Creators for Identity and Memory Association (ACIM) promotes
activities that denounce the robbery of identity, mainly when it affects
children. It is closely related with the Grandmothers of the Plaza de
Mayo Association. Its members organized de three cycles of Theater for
Identity-Catalunya.
Children abduction and forged identity were a systematic policy during
both the last Argentine military dictatorship, Spanish Franco’s regime
and other “the facto” governments.
ACIM considers that stolen identities should be restablished as this is
an inherent human right.

Located in Southern
California, Fallbrook and its surrounding communities is a beehive of creative
energies: artists, sculptors, writers, actors, musicians, dancers, designers,
and filmmakers. In 2006, the non-profit Fallbrook Film Factory was formed to
foster filmmaking activities similar to community theatre, and out of that the Fallbrook
International Film Festival evolved, now entering its fifth season. Fallbrook
was also the family home to one of Hollywood’s all-time filmmaking legends
Frank Capra during the height of his filmmaking career. To that aim, we have
been most fortunate to gain the support of the Capra family, allowing us to
host a very special award in his name. And this year, due to the strong support
from the Hollywood stunt community, we are adding Action Films as an award category
and workshops with top stunt directors, reveling this hidden art of filmmaking.
