The Al D. Rodriquez Liver Foundation (ADRLF) presented a Special Advance Screening of MAKING THE BOYS, directed by Crayton Robey at Pines 69 Benefit Gala in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall hosted by Emmy Award winner Carson Kressley and Tony Award winner Sara Ramirez on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 5:30 PM at the Brandon Fradd Theater, Whyte Hall, Fire Island Pines. A Silent Auction preceded the Special Advance Screening introduced by director Crayton Robey.
MAKING THE BOYS, courtesy of 4th Row Films, produced/directed by Crayton Robey is a work-in-progress feature documentary that depicts historically Mart Crowley's longest running off-Broadway play (1968) and film (1970) "The Boys in the Band."
