Wieland Schulz-Keil has been active as a producer in the United States, France, Italy and Germany for over 30 years. Amongst his better know productions are Under The Volcano (1983) and The Dead (1987), both directed by John Huston; The King's Whore (1990), directed by Axel Corti; The Innocent (1993), directed by John Schlesinger; and Mesmer (1994) and The Children of Huang Shi (2008), directed by Roger Spottiswoode. He also arranged the financing, or served as executive producer, for films such as Enemy at the Gates (1999), directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud; The Score (2001), directed by Frank Oz; The Cat’s Meow (2002), directed by Peter Bogdanovich.
