According to President and CEO Stuart Alson, “I am really looking forward to Cannes and we expect business to be very brisk at our office. I have several meetings with key domestic and international buyers and distributors and have worked hard to earn their trust. The demand for our film library is exciting and inspiring. At ITN, we are committed to taking independent films to another level. The film distribution process is notoriously thorny and very often filmmakers do not make their money back as a result of confusing, hidden clauses in their contracts let alone get a wider audience for their films. At Cannes, we negotiate the best deal possible for our clients and have successfully licensed many films on a global scale.”
