Sunday, March 25------The 10th edition of the Bermuda International Film Festival came to a smashing close last evening at its legendary Wrap Party at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel. Winners were announced for both juried and audience awards. The French Canadian film A SUNDAY IN KINGALI, by director Robert Favreau, won the Bacardi Limited Audience Choice Award. This emotional and highly effective drama of love, loss and regret as experienced in the tragic love story between a Canadian journalist and a local Rwandan woman, is set against the background of the Rwandan genocide in 1994.
