The Cannes Film Festival film week is taking place from Monday, November 27 to Sunday, December 3 at the Gaumont Cinema with the support of INCAA and Marché du film – Cannes Festival within the framework of the 15th edition of Ventana Sur. Thierry Fremaux Cannes Festival director selected the winners, and I was happy to watch Justine Trier 's winning courtroom thriller (Palme d'or).

Anatomy of a Fall had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2023, where it won the Palme d'Or and the Palm Dog Award and competed for the Queer Palm. It was released theatrically in France by Le Pacte on 23 August 2023.

The film received acclaim from critics, who praised Triet and Hüller, and it has sold over one million admissions in France.
