It’s Day 2 of the 2023 Festival!
The second day of the Sundance Film Festival is in full swing! We hope you enjoyed the amazing premieres in Park City yesterday, and today we’ve got another slate of thought provoking films for you, including Fairyland, Still: Michael J. Fox, Deep Rising, Fremont, and In My Mother's Skin. And ICYMI, we’ve added a surprise premiere to today’s lineup — Justice, a powerful documentary about the allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Although it’s sold out, there’s still hope to get tickets to other sold out screenings. Join the e-waitlist through our mobile app, follow us on Twitter for our nightly ticket drops at 7:30 p.m. MT, or join Sundance Circle for access to our premium Express Passes and more.
Today we kick off our Beyond Film program. At 11:30 a.m. MT, the doors open again for Cinema Café presented by Audible, D. Smith, Walé Oyéjidé, and Alison O'Daniel will have a panel discussion about innovation in the indie film industry. Then, at 2 p.m. MT, The Big Conversation begins with a discussion on increased representation in Hollywood featuring Randall Park, Marlee Matlin, Zackary Drucker, and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril.
Fremont will be premiering today at 3 p.m. at Prospector Square Theatre in Park City. Meet Babak Jalali, and learn what inspired him to create this film that follows a former U.S. military translator in Afghanistan who now works as a fortune cookie writer in San Francisco.
Visit our official merch stores in Park City and SLC and snag a Workwear Jacket (sold out online) or a Statement Sweatshirt before they’re gone. The temperatures are dropping, but your style doesn’t need to!
